"Drawing Constructions" are created with handmade paper and reflects the strong style of her earlier drawings and paintings. Here the artist shapes wet pulp into shapes and when dry draws onto the paper with a variety of mediums. Found objects are added to the sculptural shapes. The use of drawing media is applied to the three dimensional form. Rich blacks, sometimes color, may show cosmic diagrams, numbers and linear forms relating to her interest in Oriental Art.

In this age of mechanical reproduction, technological alienation and human cloning, the recording of all cultural continuity is precious as a means of staying in touch with humanity.

As an artist all of my life, certain world and personal events have played an important part in my creativity, causing me to scrutinize certain concepts and a variety of mediums to express myself.

My art can be interpreted as sometimes exploding in riotous form or conversely into quiet reverie, and is a search for unity of opposites, the visual and the invisible.
